1. Introduction

Welcome to ChampionsBook. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we look after your personal data when you visit our website and sign up for our services, including through Google Sign-In.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information to provide better services to all our users. The information we collect includes:

• Personal Identification Information: Name and email address (from the sign-up form or from Google Sign-In).
• Account Data: Username, password (encrypted), and account preferences.
• Usage Data: Information about how you use our website, such as worksheets downloaded and pages visited.

3. Google User Data

You can create a ChampionsBook account or log in with "Sign in with Google" on our website and in our Android app. Signing in lets you download more worksheets each day (10 instead of 3) and manage your account. This section explains exactly what we do with the data Google shares with us.

3.1 Data we access

We request only the basic email and profile permissions. From your Google Account we receive:

• Email address: used as your login and to contact you about your account.
• Name: shown on your dashboard so you know which account you are using.
• Google account ID: a number that links your Google login to your ChampionsBook account.

Google also sends your profile picture with the basic profile, but we do not store it. We do NOT access your contacts, Gmail, Google Drive, calendar or any other data in your Google Account.

3.2 How we use it

We use your Google data only to create and sign in to your ChampionsBook account, to show your name on your dashboard, to count your daily downloads, and to answer your support requests. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not use it to build profiles of you, and we do not use it to train AI or machine-learning models.

3.3 Storage and protection

Your name, email address and Google account ID are stored in our database on our hosting provider's servers. All traffic to our website uses HTTPS (encrypted), and only the site administrator can see account details.

3.4 Sharing

We do not sell, rent or share Google user data with anyone. The only exceptions are our hosting provider, which stores the database on our behalf, or a legal requirement.

3.5 Retention and deletion

We keep your Google data while your account is open. You can ask us to delete your account and all its data at any time on our Delete Account page or by writing to info@championsbooks.com. We delete it within 30 days. You can also remove ChampionsBook's access to your Google Account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

3.6 Limited Use

ChampionsBook's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To provide and maintain our Service (e.g., allowing you to download worksheets).
• To notify you about changes to our Service.
• To allow you to participate in interactive features when you choose to do so.
• To provide customer support.
• To monitor the usage of the Service.

5. Data Security

The security of your data is important to us. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

6. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party Service Providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Service. These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose. Third-party services used include:

• Google Sign-In – For authentication.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) – For push notifications.
• Razorpay – For payment processing (upcoming feature).

7. App Permissions

The ChampionsBooks Android app requests the following permissions:

• Internet Access – Required to load worksheets, categories, and account information from our servers.
• Storage / Downloads – Required to save downloaded PDF worksheets to your device's Downloads folder.
• Notifications – Required to send push notifications about new worksheets, updates, and announcements (can be disabled in device settings).

We do not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location, or any other sensitive device data.

8. Push Notifications

The app uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send push notifications. We may send notifications about:

• New worksheet additions
• App updates and announcements
• Special offers (upcoming)

You can opt out of push notifications at any time by going to your device's Settings → Apps → ChampionsBooks → Notifications and disabling them. Your FCM device token is stored solely to deliver notifications and is never shared with third parties.

9. Data Collected by the App

When you use the Android app, we may collect:

• Account Information: Name, email address (via email registration or Google Sign-In).
• Download History: Which worksheets you have downloaded, to improve recommendations.
• Device Token: A Firebase FCM token to deliver push notifications to your device.
• App Usage Data: Basic anonymized usage patterns (e.g., categories browsed) to improve the app experience.

We do not collect precise location data, payment card numbers, or any biometric data.

10. Data Retention & Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. To delete your account:

1. Open the ChampionsBooks app → Profile tab.
2. Tap "Delete Account" (or use our dedicated deletion page below).
3. We will permanently delete your account and all associated data within 30 days.

Downloaded PDF files saved to your device are stored locally and are not affected by account deletion. You may delete them manually from your device's Downloads folder.

11. Advertising and Cookies

ChampionsBook is free to use. To keep it free, we show advertisements on some pages through Google AdSense, an advertising service provided by Google LLC.

How ad cookies work

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's previous visits to this website or to other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• Google and its partners may also use cookies or similar technologies to measure how ads perform and to limit how often you see the same ad.

Your choices

• You can opt out of personalised advertising from Google by visiting Google Ads Settings.
• You can opt out of some other third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.
• You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block all cookies, some parts of the site (such as staying logged in) may not work properly.

• Essential cookies – keep you signed in, remember your session and apply the daily download limit.

12. Children's Privacy

ChampionsBooks is an educational platform designed for children (Preschool to Grade 10). However, account registration is intended for parents and teachers, not for children directly. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at info@championsbooks.com and we will delete it promptly.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
